The Beginning

Glass Nickel Pizza opened its doors with a simple mission: bring authentic wood-fired pizza to Philadelphia. Our first location was a cozy 30-seat restaurant with a handbuilt brick oven.

2019

Community Recognition

Named "Best New Restaurant" by Philadelphia Magazine and featured in Food & Wine. Our Margherita pizza won the city's pizza competition, establishing us as a local favorite.

2021

Expansion & Growth

Expanded our original location and launched our popular delivery service. Introduced our artisanal gelato program and extended hours to serve the community better.
